This is the mini cake I made for my little since she turned 27 months the same day, Vic’s birthday.
I baked a cake on a regular 9 inch pan and used a circle cutter to cut circles and layered them and form the mini cake. It didn’t turned out perfect and it was a little uneven but it turned out pretty.
For the banner, I used a gray satin ribbon and used two lolipop pop sticks.
To make it metallic, I used silver dust and peppermint extract. Simply, add a couple of drops of extract to silver dust. The extract will dry out so keep adding drops of extract to keep it at a paint consistency.
The dust can be found at JoaAnn’s for about $5 or at your local bakery supply store.
She loved the cake, specially the sprinkles.
This is adorable. I love your photography too. Great work!
