We love movie nights. Especially those nights when I get to stay up late with my loved ones binge watching movies on VOD or even Netflix. With the Frontier VOD movie room, I can keep up with movies I haven’t seen like 13 Hours, Kung Fu Panda, and (coming soon!) Dawn of Justice.

You have to have great snacks for movie night. My family loves to get creative with our snacks – it’s one of the benefits of watching movies in the comfort of our home.

How about some Churro popcorn to make your movie night to the next level? I mixed two of my favorite things together: Churros and popcorn. You are going to love this crispy, cinnamon-sugary popcorn.

Ingredients:
– 1 bag of white popcorn, popped.
– 1 Cup of Flour
– 1/2 Cup of water
– 2 Tablespoons of Oil
– 2 Tablespoons of white sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon of salt
– 1/2 cup of milk
– 1 teaspoon of Powdered cinnamon
– Sugar for dusting
– Oil for frying

Directions:

• In a medium sauce pan, bring to boil, milk, water, oil, white sugar, salt. Set aside
• Add flour and mix. If batter is too thick, add milk until mixture is pancake batter consistency.
• In a bowl add popcorn and drizzle the churro mix on the popcorn. Toss until mostly popcorn is covered.
• In a small bowl, combine sugar and powdered cinnamon for dusting and set aside.
• Heat a large skillet pan with about 1/3 cup of oil. Once is hot, sprinkle in the mixed churro popcorn. Fry until golden brown.
• Remove churro popcorn from pan and immediately sprinkle the cinnamon sugar.
• Serve on your next movie night.

Most of my family lives about 800 miles apart. Unfortunately, they are too far away to enjoy a movie night with us but thankfully with Frontier’s phone service  they are only a phone call away! The only time we are able

to visit my family is during the summertime, but that doesn’t stop us from catching up the rest of the year! We talk over the phone all the time, and during the Holidays, we talk daily. I love how reliable Frontier phone services are.

I have such great memories of family movie nights with my parents and sisters, and I miss the chaos of all of us voting on what movie we will watch together. But I love that I can keep the tradition going with my kids.
