Welcoming a new Disney Princess Elena of Avalor

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Disney and Latina Bloggers Connect. The opinions and text are all mine.

Princess Elena of Avalor  is finally here!

Disney’s new lovable first Latina princess Elena was a success in our family. We had our mini viewing party with the kids and my little Aries was in awe and became immediately obsessed with the show.

She loved the characters and especially the dresses Elena was wearing. Immediately, Aries requested for me to make her a dress exactly like Elena’s and requested to see more of the show. I don’t think I can sew her the dress but I definitely will be purchasing her an Elena of Avalor dress from the Disney Store.

For our little viewing party, we invited Aries’ best kindergarten friend who couldn’t make it at the last moment.  Aries was sad but forgot all about it with all the decorations, cake, balloons and the Elena of Avalor series premier show.

Elena of Avalor made her day and I was so happy to see my little girl enjoying the show while eating popcorn next to her little brother, her best friend.

I absolutely love all the different Latin references in music, folklore, food and all the colors!

Elena of Avalor is bursting with color, the series is joyful, very entertaining for kids (and parents too!). The terrific storyline is filled with lots of meaningful connections with the Latin community. I already feel so connected to Elena of Avalor, even more after knowing that her favorite drink is horchata and they show tamales in the storyline. How amazing is that? I can not live without horchata and tamales.

Don’t miss any episodes of Elena of Avalor every Friday 7:30 PM / 6:30 PM CT on Disney Channel and Disney Junior. I know my little Aries and I will be tuning in every Friday
