Christmas is only 8 Fridays away! Can you believe it? Here in our home, we couldn’t be more excited, as we love Christmas as much as Halloween.
As part of the Michael’s Makers this month’s challenge, I have created my dream tree. Last year, my dream Christmas tree was an Ombre tree, that I spray painted using whites and black/gray shades of spray paint to create an ombre effect. The previous year, I created a mini Alphabet Tree for the kids room.
This time around, I decided something different, metallic and shiny. So I decided to spray paint my tree using Rose Gold spray paint from Michael’s stores. Since the tree was green, I had to spray paint it white to have more coverage. Then I spray painted the tree using Rose Gold Metallic spray paint. It took a long time to spray paint the whole tree it but it was worth it. The metallic reflects beautifully with the lights and ornaments, making it shine even more.
It took about 10 rose gold spray paint. I spray paint each branch from side to side, the inside of the tree and even the pole and legs.
To decorate our tree, we used lots of clear ornaments from Michael’s handmade craft section and lots of clear snowflake ornaments.
So there you have it, my Dream Christmas Tree
