My first grader goes back to school from winter break on the 9th and I’m so ready for her to go back to regular school hours. The break was nice an all but this momma needs to get back on track.
One of my New Years resolutions this year is having a little more control over Organization. I’m so glad Michael’s Store has some great designs on storage. If you haven’t been to Michaels recently, you should, its all about the spring flowers, organization and Valentine’s Day. With back to school just near the corner, it’s time to freshen up the homework/art station. I used metal cups and ombré stationery organizers to bring in more color and function. The key to my daughters school organization is about pencil cups and lots of them. It’s easier for kids to grab the pencil cup full of colors and then put them back in when finished. Also, washable colors is only allowed in my house if you know what I mean, am I right?! That’s right, easy to wipe of walls, skin and tables.
My girl loves coloring a bit too much so I’m always stocking up on all her colors supplies and Michael’s always has a great selection of Crayola.
