The month of love and friendship is just around the block. We are starting the year off right by spending more time together, more at home family dinners and simply being closer.
As you may now, we love movie time around here and our resolution as a family is to have more family movie nights. This year, so many great movies and TV series are being released that we are looking forward to movie nights.
Why not spread the love around your family and surprise them with a Valentine’s Day family movie and some heart-shaped pancakes?
Ingredients:
- Pancake Mix
- Water
- Pink food coloring
- Wood Skewers
- Fresh Fruit like Cantaloupe
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Small & medium heart shaped cookie cutters
Instructions: Prepare the pancake mix as stated on the package. Add red or pink food coloring to the pancake mix. Heat a pan or griddle to low/medium temperature. Either using a heart-shaped cookie cutter or an empty squeeze bottle, pour the pancake batter onto the griddle and flip over until they are lightly browned off.
Once you have prepared enough heart shaped pancakes. Insert pancakes into skewers. Insert a piece of fruit in between pancakes.
To make an arrow of the wood skewer, create the tip and end using a piece of felt and hot glue.
Start the year off right by spending quality time with the family. Cheers to a year of more cozy nights by the fire watching a Disney movie on Frontier TV. Nothing is better and easier than ordering a movie via Frontier VOD, like Trolls Movie that my daughter loves. Check out all the current movies on demand you can order here.
