Aries’ Kindergarten class have a good behavior reward system where everyday students receive a green (for good behavior), yellow (warning) or red (bad behavior) report cards to take home. If students collect 10 green report cards, they receive a prize from their teacher.

One day, when I picked up Aries from school, she saw me with a sad pouty face and handed me her yellow report card because she knew having a yellow report card meant it wasn’t a good day. The next day she received a green report card and said she will always be a good student and will listen to her teacher. She has now collected 13 green cards, 2 yellow cards (which I had to sign and return to her teacher).
