It’s that time of the year where the flu and cold take over. I try to use home remedies before trying on OTC medicine. I even call my mom for her home remedies that she used to do when we were sick as a child with a cold or fever. My mom would rub vapor-rub on our feet then covered them with socks and left overnight to fight the fever or cold.  She would cook a pot of chicken soup, lemon with honey tea and if that didn’t work she then had to rely on OTC medicine or would take us to the doctor for Penicillin. It would usually went away within a few days with just home remedies and bed rest.

When Aries is sick, I try everything my mom would do but we still have OTC medicine like Little Remedies in our medicine cabinet for emergencies.

If your children get sick, my recommendation as a mom is too give them liquids, cover them, warm baths and lots of hugs.
