The Cartoon Director sounds like so much fun! I love that it allows you to snap photo of a friend or family member and then put their head directly into a story before recording a voiceover. My son would love that!ReplyCancel

My son wants this so bad. His birthday is actually Christmas this would be the best Birthday/Christmas present. It has all the features my son is into. Dual camera for recording and taking pictures, you can use it for music, not to mention reading and writing which he is really getting into. The biggest feature that looks great to me and would get me to buy if I had the fund…is the rechargeable battery pack. That is just amazing. It is one of the biggest reasons we didn’t get the leap pad when it came out. We live on a very small budget and we knew we would go through way too many batteries. My son understands this so he said okay. But we would be so grateful to be able to put a gigantic smile on his face with the new leap pad.ReplyCancel

I love that they made it more durable and all the educational games are wonderful. The only thing my 3 year old granddaughter tells me she wants for Christmas is an IPad, I think this is more suitable.ReplyCancel

The Cartoon Director app, and the front & back camera seem like the coolest options to me. Well, those and the fact that the speed is much faster than the 1st Leap Pad. My son would just die to have this… He’s 3 & definitely a modern techie kid. He teaches my husband new things on his iPad all the time… curious & not afraid to “mess things up” like adults… which is good AND (can be) bad! The fact that this is made for his little hands means he is more likely to keep them off of hubby’s iPad & my phone! lol.

My favorite toy by them is the Tag Jr. so far, my son really loves it.
