I wanted to buy a WALL DECAL for aries room but the ones I liked were pretty expensive. So I decided to make my own version of wall decals. I had some card-stock paper and some paint already so I came with the idea of just stenciling out my design and just hot glue to the wall.

I wanted to paint the room before I placed the decals but when we bought the house it was newly painted. We will paint next year. For now.. its ok.

I would of love to show you a step by step tutorial with pictures..  but I made all these decals a couple months go.. before I started blogging. Next time I will.. promise! For now I will try my best to explain how to make them. If you get confused let me know!

(MONOGRAM DECAL)
-Get your “LETTER” image from WORD MS; print it or draw it on a paper then use X-ACTO Knife to cut out through card-stock/poster board.
-For the “ARIES” decal, I drew it myself on WHITE POSTER BOARD. I cut them out and painted them with pink paint! Again, use the X-Acto knife to cut out through the card-stock paper.
-For the circle “dots”, I just cut out small circles in black paper stock.

NOTE: You will use the cut-outs as the decal! Do not through out the stencil you might use it for future projects!.
           Measure the place where you will be placing your wall decal. Tape it on the wall before you HOT GLUE!

(DAMASK DECAL)
I love DAMASK! Search online for a damask and print it out. Cut out through the card-stock/poster board with E-Acto Knife. Again, you will use the cut-outs as your decal! Keep the stencil for future projects!

For the HEART.. they are some styrofoam cut outs i had already.. you can just cut out a PINK heart.

NOTE: Measure the place where you will be placing the decal. Tape it on the wall first to see if its straight then HOT GLUE it!

(Chandelier DECAL)
I still don’t know if its too much for the room.. but I still made the chandelier.. I might take it out and make something else. To make this.. big enough! You will have to draw it from the computer to a paper in pieces.
Again.. follow the same directions as the other decals!

(TREE DECAL)
For the tree, I wanted to make my favorite tree; a cherry blossom. This one I drew it myself in pieces. Its really easy.. You don’t need to be an expert in drawing to do this! For the pink, blossoms, I drew them in white poster board. I cut them out and painted them with pink paint.

My sister, Sara, gave me the bench. Its old but that will be my next project. I will refurbish it and show you on a tutorial!
