Bacon & Coffee French Toast #IDLOVE

The love of my life, loves French Toast. So this time I decided to make French Toast a little different. I added International Delight Coffee and some bacon bits. This is sure a man worthy breakfast for Valentine’s day that will leave your husband satisfy!

That morning the husband was off from work, and was so anxious to eat them.. and gave me little time to take pictures. I even forgot to sprinkle some powder sugar in the picture and I promise It was the hubs fault, he was really hungry and couldn’t wait any longer.

To make this delicious Bacon & Coffee French Toast you are gonna need International Delight Iced Coffee in Vanilla Light. This recipe makes about 10 toasts. Hope you enjoy.

Ingredients
  • ½ Cup of International Delight Iced Coffee in Vanilla (Light)
  • 4 Eggs
  • ¼ tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp of extra refined sugar or powdered sugar
  • 1 Cup Bacon Bits or Fresh Bacon cut into small pieces and cook them until crunchy – (remove the fat oil excess)
  • White or Whole Wheat Bread Slices
  • Butter or Non Stick Spray

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, sugar and ½ cup of bacon bits.
  2. In a large skillet in medium temperature, add a little butter. Dip in a slice in the batter, adding some pieces of bacon bits to the toast with your hands of spoon. (since they will tend to sink in the bottom of the batter)
  3. Cook each side for about 15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Serve and top them with more bacon bits, sprinkle of powder sugar & syrup.
