More Color in My Life | #PackMoreHealth with @NutriliteHealth

I have been trying to have a healthier lifestyle but sometime things are in the way. Excuses, I know. I’m just so glad that my little “raw” eater and eats all kinds of vegetables & fruits all day long. For me at first it was lazyness, then emotional eating, then simply not much time for a healthy dinner. I need to care more about what I eat because it will affect me in the long run.

I was SUPER excited to be part of group of bloggers traveling to New York City last week to learn more about packing more health! It was my first time vising NYC and oh my gosh; It’s amazing!!
Nutrilite invited me to join them on NYC to learn more about healthy living and the event was such a great hit. I was able to meet other bloggers, doctors & celebrity Chef Rick Bayless. I arrived at NYC on Monday evening and couldn’t believe I was there. The Smyth Hotel Triebecca accommodation was spectacular and it was so exciting to see NYC during the day and night.

The next morning Nutrilite invited us to have lunch and learn how to pack more health on our diets. We were able to ask questions to the chefs, even cook and have a delicious dinner while learning about nutrition. We had the opportunity to cook and help out the chefs with the course meal. I immediately headed to the baking section and learned how to make a Chocolate Souffle! I will be making one with Dulce De Leche or Nuttella and can’t wait to show you!

The following day we had the opportunity to participate in a health tests that included blood work, blood pressure, upper body strength, bone density and body composition by Nutrilite’s experts.  We also had an exciting media breakfast event with Celebrity Chef Rick Bayles. Chef Bayless, taught us an easy yet nutritious Mexican dish.

What did I learned about #packmorehealth? I had the opportunity to talk to doctors so I had to ask about my health and my mom’s. I got some great tips on exercising with my daughter as she is always with me using a very effective exercise routine with Interval Training. I’m currently doing only high Interval Training for about 30 seconds of high intense exercise and resting for about 3 minutes; doing 4 sets and resting in between. Dr. Micheline Vargas, was telling me that its a very effective way of exercise during a busy day and specially for us, stay- at-home moms.

I also spoke with Dr. Kip Johnson, M. D. and had to talk to him about my health. Since I have higher probability that I might get diabetes, I need to take care more about myself and Dr. Kip Johnson gave me some great pointers and recommended Nutrilite Vitamins.

A HUGE thanks to Nutrilite for this exciting opportunity and being able to share my story and experience with you all. I know sometimes I don’t eat as healthy as I hope so but this experience made me change my perspective of a healthy meal and how I’m setting an example to my daughter! Nutrilite is an amazing company that only have THE BEST OF NATURE and THE BEST OF SCIENCE.

I am now taking my daily Nutrilite Multivitamin along with delicious to-go Vegetable & Fruit Servings! Don’t you love a company like Nutrilite that cares so much about nutrition, health and how natural their products are? It’s one of the things I admire about Nutrilite. Those are amazing pictures! Skating in NYC in the winter is one the items on my bucket list as well as a trip to NYC. I have yet to travel there and tour the city. Rick Bayless is a family favorite, his recipes are delicious and rich in culture. I’m happy to see you motivated to care for your health and this trip seems like a great fit for it! 😀 I pack my health by always having a healthy snack in my handbag in a zip top bag such as fresh vegetables or fruit and always having water at hand to keep my body hydrated. Exercising with routines is also on my list.ReplyCancel
