Disneyland & Disney California Adventure

This was our first trip as a little family to Disneyland. I haven’t been to Disneyland in more than 12 years and it was such an amazing experience. I felt like a kid again! It sure is the happiest place in earth! We visited both parks: Disneyland & California Adventure. The weather that day was…

  • What a FUN Visit you Had! i did not know that they had the Cars and Bugs Life themes there. It is absolutely a Magical Place. I agree about going on the off season so that it is easier to manage the little ones in lines and with people everywhere. Great tips on what to bring too. We recently went to Disney in FL and loved it, but I want to go to CA to see how they compare. Thanks for sharing – the photos are Great!ReplyCancel

We went last year but are looking forward to going back soon to check out the new Cars land. Our boys LOVE Cars, so I know they’ll get a kick out of that area! Thanks for sharing!ReplyCancel

The pics are great. We are going in a week and my boys are really exited about Cars Land. The best thing to do if you have little ones & have someone else with you or don’t mind riding alone is to get a switch pass. Its a little Disney secret and most rides have them (new rides will not have it for at least 6 months to 1 year). All you have to do is ask for it. The first group will wait in line, then you ask one of the cast members for a switch pass and the next group can go through the fast pass line. It works great specially if you have one kid who can do the big rides. My husband and I take turns on waiting in the initial line and our oldest gets to ride twice. We found out the best time to go is in September since all school are back in session. The lines are about 20-30min long and it is not to hot.ReplyCancel

My son would love to go here! It looks like you had a good time!ReplyCancel

  • Oh my gosh! What wonderful pics! I can’t wait to take my Alice. In our whole family my Alie and myself are the only one’s who haven’t been yet. Our local Zoo has misting fans, not just the misters but huge fans that spray a cool mist with them and they are a HUGE hit! There is usually a line just to stand in front of one. I really LOVE that you mention bringing a cooler of food and drink. That means you can! We loved our trip to Seaworld but you are not allowed to bring in any outside food and that was a HUGE bummer. I really hope we make it to Disneyland soon. I would LOVE to see the Bugs Life area. Thanks for sharing your trip with us. 🙂ReplyCancel

  • I live in Florida now and we have annual passes and go to disney world every few months. We love it but man I loved Disneyland when we went several years ago.

I almost died laughing when you posted the picture of the ferris wheel. We went on swinging part and my mom thought we were going to die! My sister and I STILL make fun of her and laugh about it 6 years later…ReplyCancel
