Have you been following the wall hanging trend lately? or the macramé hanging? or perhaps the cactus trend?

I love all sorts of trends specially the boho wall hangings I have been seeing around. Making one,  it’s easier than you think and Michael’s Store has all the perfect materials needed.

What you will need:
– Birchwood Sticks (Michael’s has some at the Flower Section)
– three different color of yarn
– Scissors
– String

Begin by looping and wrapping yarn to the birchwood in the following pictured steps:

Depending on how you would like the wall hanging, trim the yarn by brushing or coming they yarn strips with your hand then cut.

Then make a knot on each side of the birch wood with the string you will be hanging with. I used Michael’s macramé cord from the Jewelry department and it works perfectly.
