Raising A Kindergarten

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Scholarshare as part of our brand ambassador partnership. We believe that savings for college is important.

Raising a kindergarten is fun! Our little Aries is student of the month at her school for November. She was so excited to receive a little certificate with her name on it. As part of the student of the month, she received a gift certificate to BJ’s Restaurant for a free meal and couldn’t wait to go out and eat at BJ’S; her favorite restaurant!

A few weeks ago, we attended our first ever parent teacher conference to talk to her teacher about Aries progress in Kindergarten. Her teacher adores her, and is so delighted to have such little girl with the best enthusiasm attending school in her class. Aries loves, loves school. Aries is doing great with her alphabet sounds, and she is beginning to read on her own. We were so happy to hear such great positive progress our little Aries.

We are reading every night and practicing her “first 100 words” every little kindergarten should learn to read before entering first grade. So far, she is doing great and loves reading new books while recognizing her 100 words. I love hearing her read, as a parent, it makes me teary and reflect on how much she has grown in the past 5 years.

Now, here is to hoping, she continues to love school and continues her education to college and beyond. In the meantime, we are saving money for her education through Scholarshare. I do not want her to worry about the expenses like I did when I was struggling while in college. Scholarshare is helping us have a piece of mind that we are working on her future; that we are preparing for her future choices in eduction.
