You may recall our review of the Evenflo Symphony™ DLX All-in-One Car Seat? It has been a tremendous difference and makes me feel at ease that my child is safe, comfortable and happy with her new car seat. Aries is at an age where she asks a million questions and loves to have a conversation just about anything. She even asked us why we changed her car seat. So we explained and asked her how she felt riding on her new car seat.

Traveling with kiddos in the car is no easy task. It can be stressful and so tiring. I even think twice before we driving up to L.A since it’s an hour and 30 minutes away because with the traffic it makes it feel like a 5 hour trip. L.A traffic is insane and during the summer waiting in traffic with fuzzy children, feels even worst. We don’t road travel as much as we liked but when we do I have 5 tips I often use when traveling with my kiddos via the road.

Entertainment/activities: my daughter often gets bored on long trips so we let her pack her own backpack with her favorite toys and books. We always carry our iPad, Leap Pad Ultra and Portable DVD Player. Bring as much travel and their favorite toys to entertain them. You can even buy the Frozen soundtrack.  Lately, we’ve listening to Frozen soundtrack for what it seems like a million times. I’m not gonna lie but my husband and I love the Olaf solo song– it’s so fun for kiddos to sing along.

Breaks: Potty breaks and rest stops is a good change to explore the surroundings during the day. Spending too much time in the road will only make a little kiddo fuzzy, and parents too! So plan ahead and take your time while in rest stops.

Snacks: Having a few snacks on hand is a lifesaver for kids and yourself too. We always carry a small cooler with cold water bottles, juice and a few sandwiches. It saves money and it’s very handy when kids get hungry any time during the trip.

Surprise Bags: If you are traveling a long road trip, we like having a surprise bag in case kids get a little fuzzy. you can even make a little “I Spy” game and have the surprise bags as prizes. This is fun for kiddos and can help them calm and get happy. Fill the bags with some dollar store toys, crayons, stickers or whatever they like.

Safety: Above all, safety is the most important tip. Having a reliable and safe car seat is a must. Our Evenflo Symphony™ DLX All-in-One Car Seat is a perfect example of a safe and reliable car seat. It’s a great investment because it coverts to feed the need of the child as he grows up. The NASA-developed regulating fabric is one feature of the Evenflo Symphony™ DLX All-in-One Car Seat that is perfect for road traveling.  The OUTLAST Performance Fabric balances your child’s body temperature for a safe, peaceful ride by absorbing hot and cold temperatures and releasing as needed. This car seat also features a e3 Side Impact Protection that makes you feel at ease when traveling by road. Another feature we love that is specially awesome for road trips is the Up-front, multi-position that can recline when the kiddo is asleep. Our little girls falls asleep often when we travel and having a car seat that is comfortable for her while not compromising her safety is something to look for in a car seat. Not to mention that the Evenflo Symphony™ DLX All-in-One Car Seat looks modern and stylish. A bonus is having a built in cup holder to keep the beverage in handy. Safety is what the Evenflo Symphony™ DLX All-in-One Car Seat is all about.
