Summer is over and all things fall and Christmas are making its way to the ahelves in the stores. The past few weeks we have been unwinding and spending time as a family. Nothing more relaxing than forgetting to check my phone every 30 minutes to see what I’ve missed.
I haven’t really recovered from our two week vacation and only wished we had another vacation soon. For our summer vacation last month, we visited my parents and sisters in El Paso, TX. We then left the kids and my sisters kids with our mom, then we left for a couples cruise to the Bahamas. Yes, no kids!
My sister and I were in need of a break from being Moms so we planned for a cruise to the Bahamas via Carnival from Port Canaveral.
It was the best vacation I’ve had in a long time with out kids. I love my kids but motherhood definelty takes a toll, I haven’t been apart from my kids for more than two days before and being with my kids 24/7 everyday it’s nice to have a little vacation with my husband to reconnect.
Our first time cruise experience was the best! Since arriving, all staff were exceeding our expectations, food was delicious, the ride was pleasantly comfortable.
Let’s talk about the drool-worthy food! All meals were so tasty I had seconds on some days. The meals were that good. Our dinner at The Diamond Steakhouse was an incredible experience! Filet Mignion was my favorite and the dessert options were mouth watering!
There are so many fun activities to do during the cruise. From live shows, to cocktail tastings, dance party’s, comedy hours, photo ops, nightclubs and much more, time flies while you’re having fun on the cruise! We attended almost all shows and after that we watched the adult comedy club hour, a few more drinks with no worries of driving, kids but just fun!
I honestly didnt expect to like the cruise vacation but it turns out I fell in love with cursing! I’m already planning our next cruise and this time around we are taking the kids with us.
