DIY Kid Doodle Plates

Every time my daughter comes home with an art project from school, I place it in a chest for safekeeping. Personally, I think that her art is the cutest thing ever, and little by little she keeps improving. So far, her favorite things to draw include stick figures, rainbows and flower doodles.

Children’s art may be the perfect gift for any occasion, and the personal touch makes it even more special. I’ve used my kid’s artwork as wrapping paper, placed it in picture frames, and even attached it to canvas. Now that Mother’s Day is approaching, incorporating your kid’s artwork into a gift for a mother or grandmother can result in one of the most heart-touching, personal presents.

Each year on Mother’s Day, my kiddos give me a homemade gift that they made with their own little hands (and a little help from their daddy). These simple, homemade gifts are the ones that make me teary-eyed. This year, I’m helping my daughter make some plates settings with her artwork for my mother. What grandma wouldn’t love their grandkids artwork on a plate? I know my mom is going to love it!
