We love movie nights and popcorn. To make our movie nights more fun, I’ve decided to make our regular popcorn into six new recipes that will satisfy everyone’s craving.

Pick your Video On Demand, rent a movie or watch your favorite re-run show on FiOS TV and try some of these popcorn recipe ideas.

Our most favorite way to watch a movie is either Netflix, rent a movie via Verizon Fios’ VOD or browse through our favorite TV channels for movies to watch. Go ahead and rent Home, it has been our current release favorite family movie to watch.

S’mores Popcorn

– Graham Crackers, crushed.
– Mini Marshmallows
– Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips, melted.
– Popcorn, light butter or kettle, popped.
Directions: In a double boiler or microwave, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips In a bowl, add your pocorn, add crushed graham crackers, mini marshmallows & drizzle melted chocolat. Mix well to combine all ingredients.

Cotton Candy:
-A bag of packaged cotton candy. I found some at Party City for $1.29 a bag.
-Popcorn of your choice: I prefer the kettle or light butter. Popped.
Directions:  Simply add tiny bits of cotton candy to popcorn and mix well.

Spicy & Lime Popcorn
– Tajin Chili Powder (Same one I use on my Mexican Street Corn Recipe)
– Fresh limes
– Popcorn, popped.

Directions: Drizzle some lime juicy to popcorn and then sprinkle some chili powder.

Oreo Popcorn
– White Chocolate Chips, melted.
– Oreos, crushed.
– Popcorn, popped.

In a bowl combine, popcorn, crushed oreos, and melted white chocolate. Combine well.

Birthday Cake Popcorn
– A Tub Vanila Frosting
– Sprinkles
– Popcorn, popped. For this I do prefer kettle popcorn.

Directions: Melt frosting in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Stir constantly until frosting is well melted.  In a large bowl add pocorn, drizzle the frosting and add sprinkles. Stir until well combined.

Pop Rocks Candy Popcorn

– Packages of Pop Rocks candy
– White Chocolate Chips, melted.
– Popcorn of your choice, popped.

Directions: In a large bowl, add popcorn, drizzle the melted white chocolate and combine well. Sprinkle the Pop Rocks and mix well.
