Gluten-Free is something new for me. We don’t really are aware of all the gluten we eat but we try our best to choose products wisely. Hershey’s is one of my favorite brands to shop for Gluten-Free goodies like their Hershey’s Chocolate Bar. The Hershey Company is outstanding at stating their ingredients and their definitions in their newly design website that provides a list of ingredients they use on their products.
You may remember my trip to Hershey, PA, where I was able to tour The Hershey Company, you can read more about it here. I didn’t know that The Hershey Company had gluten-free products until I visited the headquarters of The Hershey Company. The Hershey Company does a great job at labeling their products with Gluten-Free and any product that may contain gluten. Simply read the label and more about The Hershey Company at TheHersheyCompany.com.
The Hershey Company just released their Timeless Tradition Video of their company, the story of milk and the almonds they use. It’s truly honest and interesting to know what The Hershey Company’s values and ingredients they put to every single delicious chocolate.
Now, I’m showing you a yummy recipe I have created using Hershey’s Mini White Chocolate Chips. It’s baking season, and a great excuse to bake and keep the home warm and smelling good. We just barely started to have cold nights & mornings here in Southern California, so we bake at night!
Gluten-free recipes are always a trial and error, so I used a gluten-free brownie mix. The end result, was amazing, the brownies tastes just as good as regular brownies.
Ingredients:
- Gluten Free Brownie Mix
- A teaspoon of Hershey’s Cocoa Powder (Unsweetened)
- A 1/4 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon.
- Hershey’s White Chocolate Chips
- Coconut Flakes
- Mix in the brownie mix as directed by box and adding the Hershey’s Cocoa Powder and cinnamon. Mix well.
- Bake brownies as directed by the box using two cookie sheets by dividing the batter. Sprinkle in some coconut flakes, if you want the coconut browned off then add the coconut before baking. Let brownies completely cool off. Do not cut into squares just yet.
- In a double boiler on low temperature (or use a large skillet pan add about 2 inches of water and place a medium size glass bowl in the middle) Add the Hershey’s White Chocolate Chips and stir constantly until all chocolate chips have melted.
- Place a sheet of wax or parchment paper on cookie sheet. Add and spread melted chocolate into a think layer. Transfer over the brownie layer on top of the white chocolate. Refrigerate until the white chocolate is firm. Cut into squares. Enjoy!
