Thanks to The Hershey Company, that made this post possible in partnership as a brand ambassador.
You may remember that thanks to The Hershey Company, I had the opportunity to travel to Hershey, PA in order to learn and explore all about The Hershey Company. It was a rewarding and sweet experience.
I have always loved Hershey’s Chocolate Bars, the delicious Almond Joy candy bar, and the delicious Hershey’s Kisses chocolates and after my trip, I love them even more. As soon as I arrived to Hershey, PA I felt welcomed and felt like there was a community of chocolate all based around The Hershey Company. To be honest, I never knew that a city named after Milton Hershey even existed.

During my trip to Hershey, PA I learned so much more about the The Hershey Company and it’s something I would love to share with you. The Hershey Company is setting a higher standard through its strategy of Shared Goodness. They are committed to better standards in corporate social responsibility. We were able to get a sense of how The Hershey Company is committed to better their business and it starts with many important elements like their employees and their safety.
The Hershey Company is focusing on sustainability of cocoa and positively impacting thousands of Ghanaian cocoa farmers and their families through technology, farmer training and more through Cocoa Link. The Hershey Company is committed to source 100 certified cocoa for all its chocolate product by 2020. Another goal of The Hershey Company, to reduce its environmental impact, is something to be proud of, and The Hershey Company has reduced their waste in packaging, water & more since 2009. Everyone seems so happy to be working at The Hershey Company and I would be too. The Hershey Company hires retuning US Military Veterans, offers many learning courses, and provides employees opportunities to develop skills. A better life, is something that The Hershey Company loves to be a part of. The Hershey Company gives back so much to their community and other communities by donating nearly 9.4 million US dollars in cash and products to more than 2,200 organizations. The Hershey Company is full of life and I love that they always give back to the communities around the world to help form a better life. The Hershey Company has re-designed their website to provide consumers with a detailed description of every single ingredient in every chocolate. You can see some progress on their website: TheHersheyCompany.com
The future is something we all think about, and Hershey’s partnership with Project Peanut Butter is something that really caught my eye. Project Peanut Butter provides malnourished children in Africa with ready-to-use therapeutic foods in high calorie, fortified peanut butter-like paste, which are easy to digest and help the immune system. There is so much more to learn about the history of The Hershey Company, their values, food transparency, their product development & more.
We also had the opportunity to tour The Hershey Company headquarters & Technical Center to meet and greet the team behind the company and even taste some (Gluten- Free) chocolate cake at The Hershey Company’s Test Kitchen. We also had the opportunity to tour where all the magic happens when developing a new Hershey product. Another favorite thing we toured at Hershey, PA is The Hershey Story Museum. I had no idea how amazing Milton Hershey was until I learned all about him and his company values. I had a blast visiting Hershey, PA and it’s something I would certainly recommend to you to learn even more about The Hershey Company.
If you are in or near Hershey, PA, don’t forget to stop by Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction & The Hershey Story Museum to learn and discover all about The Hershey Company.
I cannot wait to show our upcoming recipes using, of course, Hershey’s Chocolate!
