Thanks to Verizon FiOS for making this post possible as part of being a brand ambassador.

Ever wonder how the future ahead of us would be like? How our great grand children will be like? How would the technology evolve in 100 years? If you were asking me that about 6 years ago, I would probably be too occupied in my college and partying life. I would have never imagined I would be having my first child the next year. Now, with two wonderful kids of my own, I think about my future and the future of my kids. I created two humans and they have been my priority ever since they were born.

My kids have Mexican roots and I want my children to learn about our culture and traditions.  It all starts with healthy living for a longer healthy life and setting an example to my kids. As they are my daily inspiration and always, I hope to one day be their inspiration too.

Every little effort we do for a better future is important. Through the support of Verizon employees and resources, Verizon Foundation helps address the needs of communities around the world. Verizon’s employees are generous with their donations and their time, having logged more than 6.8 million hours of service since 2000 to make a positive difference in their communities.

I’m happy to share with you guys that Verizon’s #CreaFuturo initiative seeks to recognize and celebrate those individuals impacting our future today through LAM. LAM is a social network that offers its members an opportunity to meet with, and get inspired by, other Hispanic professionals like Verizon FiOS. Verizon FiOS and LAM have been partners since 2009 and have worked together to unite over 9,000 innovative Latinos. You can learn more about LAM here: http://lam-network.com/about/

Latino roots run deep. Make sure to join the conversation on how Verizon is making a difference at http://www.verizon.com/creafuturo/social
