Our Little Aries goes back to preschool next week and she has been dying to go back to school. She wakes up every morning asking if today she will be going to school. The day she returns to school doesn’t seem sooner for her. I’m excited for her to go back to school even if its a couple of hrs, 2 days a week.
Right after I pick her up from school, is important for me to talk about her school-day experience so I can know how she is doing with attending school for the first time.
Ever since she was bit by another little classmate, I’ve been playing close attention to the reaction she has on her school days. A simple, What did you learn today?” or “Did you had fun today at school?” can help her communicate more with me.
Does your family practice after school activities? In our little family we try to do after-school activities like singing songs, practice our abc’s, reading a book or having a bowl of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes Cereal. Anything that our Little Aries would love to do as an after school activities, I’m happy to oblige as this would only make our bond stronger.
Before starting your after school activities with your kiddos; create an after school Routine before starting your activities to help you keep an organized home.
Here are some after school activities I love so you can add it to your After School Routine; Download the Team Kellogg’s After School Routine Print-Out below:
