Texts, phone calls, notifications can wait until you are not driving! I took the pledge to not drive and text because #littlearies and my unborn baby boy are important to me and my family; I need them and they need me.
On Tuesday evening we were invited for a very fun event hosted by Latina Bloggers Connect and ATT at Hollywood Lucky Strike Lanes for a bowling night to discuss the importance to not text and drive. We had a blast! It was Aries first time bowling and let me tell you she was extremely social with everyone and super happy she was there. There were local latina bloggers gathered together to spread awareness of not to text and drive. It was certainly a fun event where I was able to support the #itcanwait campaign with ATT; so please, don’t text and drive and tell us your pledge and why is it important to you.
Texting and driving is very dangerous… and too many of us ignore the fatal risk. Not just texting, but using the phone in general is very distracting and dangerous while driving. AT&T’s goal is to save lives. “It Can Wait” public awareness campaign by ATT purpose is to bring awareness that no text is worth dying for. Get involved and Take the pledge at www.itcanwait.com, speak up … and don’t text and drive! Share your promise with others via Twitter (#itcanwait) and Facebook at www.facebook.com/ItCanWaitNoTextingWhileDriving
