Vanilla Baby Doughnuts Tutorial {Using Donut Maker}

Yesterday I bought a Baby Cakes Donut Maker at Kohl’s… for only $17 On Sale for $34 {I had a $10 coupon plus 30% off  using my Kohls charge)

So, last night I used it to get in the Halloween spirit!



Here is a simple Vanilla Mini Doughnut Tutorial {Using Baby Cakes -Donut Maker}


Ingredients for batter {Makes About a Dozen}
1 cups all purpose flour, sifted
1/2  cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
2 pinches of salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tbsp. butter, melted




Directions:

Decorate with any sprinkles and  any {black} cookie icing! 

 Best Served Fresh on Halloween! Boooo!

 After your kids and YOU eat them.. you will turn into a spooky monster.. the black icing leaves your mouth black!!!

{You can use a regular mini doughnut pan or baby cakes maker}

Doughnut batter:

1 cups all purpose flour, sifted
1/2  cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
2 pinches of salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tbsp. butter, melted

Preheat Baby Cakes until Ready Green light is on.

In large mixing bowl, sift together all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add buttermilk, eggs, vanilla extract, vanilla seeds and butter and beat until just combined.  Fill each donut recipient approximately 1/3 full.

Bake 3-5  minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove using the fork prong and place on cooling rack. Finish doughnuts with any glaze like Betty Crocker Cookie Decorating… 
Doughnuts are best served fresh.

Ready for Halloween?! This is a really fun and easy to bake tutorial to do with the kids on Halloween!

  • yes they were delish! You can buy a donut pan… like a muffin pan. I'm buying the cake pops maker too… Its much faster and you dont have to preheat the whole oven and you dont have to mix the batter with the frosting to make cake pops! 🙂ReplyCancel
