In collaboration with the California Milk Advisory Board, we are teaming up to spread the awareness of a good school nutrition and physical activity program to California Schools with Fuel up To Play 60. My little kindergarten, is in full swing at school and cannot believe we will be having our first ever parent teacher conference in just a couple of weeks.
Every week day morning, I get her ready, breakfast served, then I pack her lunch. Sometimes, she decides she wants to eat the school lunch and I love that her elementary school provides a healthy lunch. This is the first year, we are in a public school, and it has been an amazing experience so far. Elementary school days brings back my memories and makes me teary, that I never thought I would one day, be a mom to two wonderful kids.
Fuel Up to Play 60 is an important initiative to help kids eat healthy and stay healthy with the help of an in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by National Dairy Council and NFL, in collaboration with the USDA. Get involved and submit your California school. As a parent you can support your student and/or your local school, participate in activities and events, and spread the message. As a student in the Fuel Up to Play 60 program, you can get active, become a leader, collect points, and win cool prizes.
Schools can be funded up to $4,000 by participating in selecting a healthy & physical activity play for their California school. Sign up now as a parent and submit your school. For more information visit Fuel Up to Play 60 to get started on the movement.
