I created a fun way to store, share or gift your photos you post on Instagram in the form of monthly mini flip books. I love flip books and my daughter is also giddy about them ever since we attended an Oh Joy! event in L.A. A few months ago and they offered a photo flip booth. Aries loved the idea of flipping through a book and seeing the reaction as she flipped the photos and seeing herself move.

Even though, every time I post a photo on Instagram, my photos are stored on my iPhone. Once my memory is full, I always uplaod my photos to my hard drive because I’m afraid my phone will just stop functioning. Don’t just leave your Instagram photos stored in your Instagram profile, print them out, store, display and or craft with them. Create these monthly mini photo flip books with your Instagrama photos you have posted each month.

This project does require some knowledge of Photoshop because I created a template so you can easily select and print out your images at home.

What you will need:

– Photo Paper & Photo Printer
– Scissors
– You will need Photoshop for this project as this requires for you to set up the images manually in a Photoshop Template.
– Twine
– Washi Tape

First Step: Upload your photos to your computer.
Second Step: Open up this template for this project in Photoshop. Open all your Instagram images in photoshop.

-Place each photo onto each black scare on the template: To do that, simply, select an image to start with, click CTRL+A then CTRL + C to copy the image. Go back to the template and click on any black square and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Resize the image to fit into the black square and press CTRL + G to create a clipping mask. Follow the same steps for the rest of the images.

Third Step: Once done with clipping all the images to the black squares on the template, print out your template. Also, print out the monthly flip book covers image. Located HERE.

Fourth Step: Cut out each photo.

Fifth Step: Create a two hole punch on each image
Sixth Step: Secure all images using a piece of twine and tie a knot.

Seventh Step: Add a piece of washi tape at the edge of the flip book if desired. Flip through and enjoy.
