Our little man turned one month this past January 19th and it’s been a great journey so far. We are starting all over again with diapers, baby bottles, baby baths & a new baby scent we just adore! Our little Junius is healthy and a good baby, he is still not sleeping through the night and eats every 4 hours but we are just thrilled and over ecstatic to have our little man with us. Little Aries is extremely happy to have a baby around the house and loves to help out with feeding the baby and even taking a bath with her little brother.
Being a mom of two has been a challenge so far but I love every minute, every spit up, every poopy diaper and every tantrum by my oldest. Thankfully, I have their daddy to help out at home.
When it comes to my children, I’m always looking for the best products out there, but sometimes I become overwhelmed by the sheer number of products they need. Worse, figuring out which toys, feeding products and gear are considered best AND are right for my child’s stage can be stressful. Ultimately, I and most moms I know, just want to make sure we are buying the right stuff and not wasting hard earned money. I had never heard about Citrus Lane until a couple of weeks ago. I was immediately intrigued by their monthly box service and community of parents. We received our first Citrus Lane box this past week and I loved every single item inside for our little Junius.
Citrus Lane boxes are like care packages to help moms and dads discover new brands and products for their child. Each monthly box includes 5 items, like toys and books, handpicked based on the child’s age and stage. Citrus Lane also adjusts what they send based on the time of year, so you get fresh finds not last season’s leftovers. But while I may love the discovery, Junius loves the surprise. We all know kids love to get things in the mail, especially boxes filled with fun things, and that’s what Citrus Lane delivers. Surprise for him – Discovery for me.
Our little guy received 5 items, a Pear Tree ornament to create his first footprint or hand print, an organic lotion, a toy & a plush blankie.
Receiving a box of fun from Citrus Lane every month for your kiddos is certainly rewarding. It’s something to look for every month to bring a smile to your kid. Try Citrus Lane for yourself and receive a monthly happy mailbox of fun for your kiddo. Use code ANGIE50 for a 50% off your first box!
Offer Terms: Valid only for new Citrus Lane customers. Subscriptions automatically renew to standard retail price.
Update: After I wrote my post about Citrus Lane I received my first “Add to Box” email. This is a cool feature of the service. Each month Citrus Lane puts together special Add to Box boutiques. Because I’m a subscriber I can add any of these products in these boutiques to my next box delivery, so shipping is free! It’s a bit like Amazon Prime, except because it is from Citrus Lane I know the selections are both mom-recommended and age appropriate. My first Add to Box boutique was all things storage, after a busy holiday season, couldn’t have been timed any better.

I ordered this box for my then 18MO and was extremely disappointed with the products she received: powdered baby food, temporary tats (what?!), a puzzle meant for ages 3+ and a giant stuffed pillow. Nothing was, in my opinion, age appropriate. When I contacted Citrus Lane with my concerns, they did nothing. When I looked at their Facebook page, I saw that I wasn’t alone in my disappointment. She’s just now, at 2+ starting to play with the puzzle and the pillow. I threw everything else away. I’m glad that you got such an appropriate box! I hope others have your luck! Perhaps they’ve tied up some loose ends to avoid the problem I had?!
Hi Tara! Thanks for stopping by!

I wish this was around when my daughter was born! I remember sleepless nights and then trying to research what was the best and my brain was so foggy it took me ages to make decisions. This takes the guess work out of it! We are trying to get pregnant again and I am so excited to learn about Citrus Lane for baby #2! Thanks Angie!
Tell me about it.. same here!! Eventhoug it was about 4 years ago, I was a first time mom with no clue on parenting. 🙂
