On Thursday night, I was invited to join the Grand Opening of the Home Depot Genesee in San Diego, CA. So me and my Little Aries drove an hour to San Diego and arrived a few hours early to stop by IKEA San Diego.
We had a great time at the Home Depot Genesee, were we watch a DIH Workshop to build a Adirondack Chair. Not only the workshop was presented with detailed instructions but also tips and tricks of the equipment needed a well as the cost of the project. The ladies in charge of the workshop, were very helpful and entertaining while working on the Adirondack Chair.
It was a fun event, Home Depot provided snacks and my Aries loved that. They even had a fun photo booth were anyone was welcome to take a picture. After, all the workshop fun, photo booth and snacking; we had the chance to participate on the Treasure Hunt. The first three or four people that finish their treasure hunt, wins a gift card to Home Depot. Too bad, I didn’t win because I was thinking it was random and I had no rush in finishing first but we still had fun. My little Aries was so happy exploring the new remodel Home Depot at Genesee. I specially loved Home Depot Genesee’s paint section, Martha Stewart Living line and Home Depot garden section. The Garden Section is the largest I have seen and it inspired me to plant some peonies and a tree; hoping they can resist this California weather.
On my next trip to Home Depot, my upcoming home project is remodeling Aries playroom and I will be definitely be visiting Home Depot for my home improvement needs.
