Event: Sabor De Lujo (Luxury of Taste) #VidaLexus @Lexus

I just love living in Southern California because it’s filled with Latin culture, food and art! With the border of Mexico about 2 hrs away from me, many Mexican groceries and Latin restaurants, it makes me miss my hometown & parents who live El Paso, TX.  I’m so lucky to be able to call Southern California my home that is filled with beautiful weather, a great Latin community and delicious food!

Lexus invited me to an amazing event called Sabor de Lujo (Luxury of Taste) to celebrate three topics I love: Food, Music & Art. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend but I was there in spirit and stalking in social media while I (almost -licked the yummy photos on my phone)! Lexus showcased LA’s greatest Latin Food restaurants, today’s local Latino art and great music to enjoy the night in Sabor de Lujo.

FOOD: Everything looked so delicious and having a different variety of Latin flavors of Mexico, Argentina, Cuba and Peru. I saw many familiar Mexican candy, cookies and food!  I even saw some yummy ice popcicles in Micheladas (Mexican Beer Mix Drink) and other yummy cocktails that I must try. Lexus showcased the best Latin restaurants in LA: Mas Malo, Diable Taco, Qusqo, Ushuaia Argentinian Steak House, and Gigi’s Bakery & Cafe.

MUSIC: I’m a fan of Latin music so this I sadly missed. Music was provided by the talented DJ LezLee who everyone (I assumed) dance to Salsa and/or Merenge?! Dancing the Sabor De Lujo night in the Lure Nightclub in East La, oh my!

ART: Today’s Latin Art was showcased during the event. One that caught my eye was the “Art Galleries & Back Alleys”, it’s an inspirational art piece (shown in above pics) by artist Jaime “Vyal” Reyes and award-winning iconic artist Patssi Valdez.

Lexus first launched Sabor De Lujo in 2010 to create a unique and innovative culinary experience that recognizes the essential part of Latino culture. During Sabor de Lujo, Lexus showcased the new 2014 Lexus IS 350 (pictured above). The new Lexus IS 350 looks stunning and amazing; who wouldn’t want to have a ride like that!

I hope you enjoy the photos of my Latin side of me and the amazing event details! For more photos, information and events visit www.vidalexus.com or check out the #VidaLexus hash tag on Twitter!
