Back to school is in full swing and Aries is back on her school schedule, which means coming up with creative snack time ideas when she returns from school. Aries has two free hours to watch TV after she has completed her homework. I let her watch educational shows on TV in Spanish like Semillitas via Frontier Latino.
While she is watching her favorite TV shows, she always asks for a snack, and that’s when I usually browse on Pinterest for fun after school snack ideas for kids. Here are some of my kids favorite snack ideas that even picky eaters will enjoy!
Nilla Wafers stacked with a slice of banana and sprinkles all around . Yumm! Image by Bakers Royale Easy Apple Slice Cookies. What is not to love about peanut butter, chocolate chips over a crunchy sweet slice apple?
Strawberry Cereal Bites– Instead of strawberries dipped in chocolate, try strawberries dipped in your kids favorite cereal using honey.
Banana Sushi. Now, this one my daughter absolutely loves because it may look like sushi. Bacon Grilled Cheese Roll-Ups. Instead of bacon, add turkey bacon and low fat cheese. Banana Pops dipped in chocolate, sprinkled with chopped nuts.
Aries has been asking me to teach her more Spanish because she wants to communicate more with her grandparents that don’t speak English. Frontier Latino package was the right choice for our family because it is helping us to provide, fun, Spanish educational kids shows that helps her understand the language. We just recently discovered Cbeebies through Frontier Latino and my kids are loving it! Cbeebies encourages learning to play that helps young minds develop and learn a new language.
