Setting up Goals for 2014 #BestFeelings #ad

2014 is here and our little guy has joined our life as a family of four. We couldn’t be any happier starting the year with our little man, but with sleepless nights and changing tiny diapers all day long, it’s the perfect time for a little inspiration to prep for 2014 and set aside some “me time”.

So, it’s that time again, where I share what Glade®scent inspires me. This time around, I’ve found that refreshing my home with candles does just the trick. There’s one fragrance from Glade®that I absolutely loveright now – the Red Honeysuckle Nectarcandle.

The freshand sweet scent of Glade® Red Honeysuckle Nectaris helping me start the New Year in the right direction. Now that a new tiny human is joining us on our adventure, I have my hands full and life surely is busier. The little time I have for me is dedicated to housekeeping. I had some “free” time this week and I was able to sit down for a few minutes to relax and enjoy the smell of my favorite Glade®candle with a cup of coffeeand a new 2014 planner to set up my goals for the New Year.

My “me time” has certainly shortened over time, ever since our first baby was born. Motherhood really is rewarding but there is not much time to be alone and sometimes you forget to take care of yourself. The bathroom is where I usually spend my “me time” while my husband takes care of the kids. I light up my favorite Glade®candle, fill up the bathtub with hot water and bubbles and even turn up the music to relax. There are times where I see five little fingers peeking through the door but I know my husband is around to take care of my precious kids while I take some time to myself.

Another place, I like to relax is my living room. When the kids take a nap, I gather my favorite things: a blanket, pillow, my planner, a glass of water, a magazine and the remote control and tune in to my favorite show. My short little breaks, turn into a nap or a simple and short “me time”.
