DIY Peter Pan Felt Collars For Little Girls

I made these felt collars sometime ago but just haven’t had the time and I kept forgetting to photograph it. I love these collars because when I feel that Little Aries outfit needs a little extra to make it more fun, I add one of these collars on her.

They go perfect on almost any plain blouse.

To make these you will need:
– Felt
– Rhinestone Garland or Studs ( Most of these I found on JoAnn’s because Hobby Lobby doesn’t really carry much garland by the yard)
– Ribbon to tie the collar
– Scissors, Glue Gun

I practice my collar pattern by using one of my little girls blouse the worked my way to make the shape it. It’s not hard at all to make the collar, with just a little practice using paper.

Now below is my Little Aries modeling the Felt Collars. My Little Aries is too cute not to show her off and her natural beauty expressions.

  • Kelly Miranda - Omg what an adorable idea! First time I’ve ever seen anything like it. Def have to try to make one of these for my little cousin.

I actually create DIYs with studs and nailheads all the time and I know M&J Trimming is having an awesome sale right now (15% off all nailheads until 8/31). You should check it out since they have such a great selection. It’d be great for other DIYs too. The promo code is NAILHEAD201 and the link is http://www.mjtrim.com/nailheads.html

    Thanks for sharing!
