Children Educational Games: Kidaptive App Review #LeosPad #Spon

Leo’s Pad, brought to you by Kidaptive, is a beautiful, interactive preschool app designed by Stanford University education experts in collaboration with award-winning storytellers and animators.

My Little Aries loves watching movies on Netflix and playing with the apps on our iPad. We have tried the new app by Kidaptive called Leo’s Pad and she definitely loves it.
What is Leo’s Pad all about?  Its a children educational game that features a young Leonardo da Vinci, his pet dragon, and friend Galileo. What is unique about this app is that it like a TV Show with educational activities. Kids drag shapes on the iPad’s screen to create a space ship in a puzzle type game. They also look for letters in the stars, fly their dragon into puffs of smoke, and perform other tasks which will focus on things like shapes, colors, number sense, drawing, letter identification, and more.

So far, my little Aries loves it. Its kind of like an interactive episode of a cartoon. She can go back and do the activities again or go forward to any other part of the episode. The only thing that we didn’t like is that sometimes it freezes and my daughter even gets frustrated on that because its not responding. The app is easy to follow and she quickly was able to understand how the app worked. I love how Kidaptive is so engaged with the children’s education progress. The Leo’s Pad has also a parent’s dashboard that contains information about our child’s progress and I love that! Its certainly parent approved by me as a great children educational game.

Aries loved the drawing process of tracing the shapes to re-create the the ship, she also loved the spaceship game where she moves the tablet to avoid hitting the planets. Leo’s Pad is really unique and doesn’t compare to other apps. Aries has a quite few downloaded apps but Leo’s Pad is different and very entertaining. Leo’s Pad is sure a favorite of hers. She call is it “Leo”.

The app is available for purchase for $1.99 at the App Store. I do highly recommend this app for your pre-schooler! They will have a ton of fun learning with Leo’s Pad educational game.
