Holiday Entertaining Tips & Decor with Pier 1 Imports®

I went off shopping for the first time at Pier 1 Imports. I must say that I was in love! So many things to look at and I couldn’t resist to spend over my budget. Pier 1 Imports has so many gorgeous holiday decor ideas! I specially loved their table linens & decor.

I first browsed Pier 1 Imports® online before I went over to our local Pier 1. I made a list of what I wanted to get for the Holidays but everything looked even better in store!

During my trip to Pier 1, I purchased a new ruffled cake stand for only $9.99, candy jar, serving casserole, decorative candles, decorative ornaments, decorative star,  & a decorative pillow.

For the holiday entertaining, I’d love to prepare myself with time. If you are hosting this year’s Holiday Party or New Year’s Party. There is always something that may go wrong. Here are some tips I recommend when entertaining during the Holidays:

  • Create a list of menu and drinks. Create a simple yet delicious menu so it could be easy be for you.
  • Create a kid-friendly zone. Since we are a big family with plenty of children, a room for the children to play would be an awesome idea. They can go and play in a friendly environment when they ever please.
  • Create a center piece for the dining table.
  • Have appetizers ready for the guests.
  • If you are having party with alcohol, have sufficient cocktails for the guests.
  • If your family is like mine, that loves music & video games, gather fun games like Just Dance for WII. We also love to create music cd’s with our favorite dance music and create a dance floor. Another idea is gathering old family videos and watch them as a family; It’s always fun and very entertaining!

Do you have an entertaining idea you would love to share? What do you recommend for entertaining this Holiday Season?

If it’s interesting, if it’s impressive, if it’s colorful and cute and one-of-a-kind—then odds are it’s probably from Pier 1 Imports®. Our buyers travel the world’s major capitals and small villages hunting for the kinds of treasures you can’t find just anywhere—fresh and fragrant candles, exotic wicker, hand-painted dinnerware, gorgeous textiles and thoughtful hand crafted gifts.
