Jas - Waking up early on Saturday mornings, just to watch the morning cartoons with my older siblings and my father, is one of my favorite memories. Other than Saturday mornings we never got to watch tv. We were always too busy running around the neighborhood getting hockey games together with the other kids.ReplyCancel

Tyanne Riddle - Using our imaginations! No iPads!! Lucky if we got a sega that we could play on weekends and only watching tv as a FAMILY! I think it’s fabulous there are still things like tepees, dress ups and other pretend play props to keep kids imaginations alive in what’s becoming a technology obsessed world :/ Nothing’s more fun then a tea party in a teepee with my original cabbage patch kid and my child doll with my girls!!! Precious memories of play- not the latest app!!ReplyCancel

I knew we were going to play and skate and bike and climb, maybe even get hurt. It was going to be a fun time no matter what day it was. I miss always knowing I was going to fit in, to be listened to, always assuming i was going to have fun.ReplyCancel
